Barbara Hockenhull

In loving memory of Barbara Hockenhull.

Barbara was a true ray of sunshine with a passion for art. She had worked with clay for 55 years and was renowned for her creative and textural hand built approach to pottery. A foundation member of Albany Village Pottery Cooperative for 30 years. Barbara had exhibited widely in New Zealand and in Japan. She studied the Sogetsu School of Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) and this long-time interest had given her great delight in the making of pottery flower containers. Her pieces were always unique.

Barbara touched many hearts and changed many lives.
